This event is subject to people getting permits! Put in – late September, to be determined based on permits (Sign up cut off is labor day weekend.) We have a limited amount of room. 1st priority goes to folks that turned in for permits. This is a self support wilderness trip. Other hiking and rafting options are available as well. This is a Bear area and good cooler etiquette is required.
This trip will be one of these:

- Lower Salmon / Deschutes as a backup plan (details TBD)
Sept 23rd – Arrive, rig and camp at Alameda Bar
Sept 24th – Main Launch
Sept 25th– Layover for 1st group and possible 2nd group launch, we layover just below the falls and hike up to assist the 2nd launch. Some years there is only 1 launch, so pay attention if you need a shorter trip!
Sept 26th– We usually float from the Whiskey Creek area in a long day. Camps are in the Battle Bar – Mule Creek area
Sept 27th – Most years, we run Mule Creek and Blossum Bar. Scouters leave with the 1st group. The sweep pod is working on breaking eddy records in mule creek. This year we stopped in 21 eddies!!! 85 degrees. We try and camp between Solitude and Clay Hill
Sept 28th – Our 2nd Layover day and is an alternate takeout day for 4-5 day trips.
Sept 29th– Takeout day, some race home and others spend a day or two at the coast. Recent talk was to add another layover day as a “stayover!”
NOTE: This is not an official WRRR trip, so you don’t have to be a club member and the club is not sponsoring it, but it should be an awesome trip anyway! The last late September Rogue trip was a lot of fun with fantastic weather, great camping and circus fun. Don’t miss out!
The theme for layover day is TYE-DYE. Make sure to bring your WRRR wear for the group photo on the last layover day. We will finalize our Itinerary late summer and send out a spreadsheet. Contact brenan@theplusnw.com for more details
