Wood in the Tieton

on Friday 8/29 there were several large logs in play. By Saturday most had floated away or shifted. As of Sunday there was still a log in High Noon right behind the pillow rock, blind from upstream. You can still go right or left of the pillow rock. Between the Windy Point bridges there is a large log just hanging on to the left bank. If it moves it could block the whole channel somewhere. Keep your eyes open!

log in high noon (in the center) was removed Sunday night with some pretty fancy kayaking and pullies. But watch out for new stuff as the river flow increases
