Wrrr is working to partner with other non profits. WRRR is helping to raise funds to develop a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion scholarship fund to help Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and other under-represented populations, experience rivers and learn how to run them safely. Some ways the scholarship will help is by providing people with an opportunity to experience rivers through funding commercial trips. Or for those already hooked, but needing training, we will partner with various outfitters and trainers to provide scholarship recipients with guide training or swift water rescue courses. The winning bids and the winners alias’s are listed below. We will be notifying the winners using the contact information they included in their registration over the next few days. Winners will need to pay through PayPal or in person at the WRRR Gear Swap and Repair event on October 10th.
