Standing Committee Reports
1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Rebecca/Brenan: No updates
2. River Watch – Rebecca Post: Tamie – Confirmed car in Sauk has been removed
  1. Cyspus – one piece completed, moved to next piece
  2. Noocksack – extra log jams in lower stretch which is not normally run by boaters
3. Safety and Education – Rebecca Post
4. Communications – Brenan Filippini: Having troubles updating membership database before end of month notices are sent. We are also trying to change the message to indicate members can disregard if they have already paid.
  1. Repo – Calendar needs to be updated to remove December meeting
  2. David Elliot said no problem creating roster and excluding those who do not want info shared. Need to add checkbox to unsubscribe from sharing to renewal page and new member form.
5. Membership – Tamie Stonke: No updates. Kudos to Tamie for great work
6. Programs and Volunteers – Erik Smith: No updates
7. Mail pickup/Meeting reservations – Nancy: Picked up today and payed Valley Septic bill with credit card.
  1. Brenan cannot pay bill, Brenan will update password so Repo can get into again.
8. WRRR Wear – Rebecca Post: Nancy’s t-shirt guy was on vacation, he will work on order when he returns.

Events
1. Rogue or Lower Salmon roundup (9/18/2022): 6 people did the Deschutes since other rivers not running, no permits, and questionable if cancellations would be released on Rogue. Kim and poppy both went down the river and had a good time.
2. Sauktoberfest status (10/22/2022) – Brenan: questionable, no rain in forecast. May move to Skagit and possibly camp at Marblemount. Brenan will re-write article.
3. Gear Swap this weekend – Oct 15. Need to post to FB.
4. Misc River Ops
  1. Nisqually river clean-up: Repo – need to add to calendar. last year was April 2nd. proposed to keep 1st Sat of April. Will check with Greg to see if that works for them.
  2. Feb 18: Tilton trek -Ike Kinswa state park will be closed. need to remove from description.
Old Business
1. Ballot should have been submitted by October 1 – Repo – Done
2. Reviewed motion to change board requirement to allow people who were member by Gear Swap. Debate ensued. Anarchy threatened. Motion not seconded. Motion failed.
3. Letter to member composed and delivered to Brenan to hand deliver to member.
New Business
1. Appoint Elections Committee (any current member not running for office) – Repo: David and Homer both agreed to be on Committee. Repo to send David the ballot. Send ballot out with 1 open seat. Suggestion to write Paul in.
2. Karie – December meeting is part of repeating meeting: https://wrrr.org/event/monthly-board-meeting/ not able to edit repeat. Brenan looking at it.
3. Brenan – Met with Bob Sawhill and he is happy to help. would want to transition website to clubexpress. takes care of database and membership. we are still responsible for content. he wants to transition slowly. need to compare costs. If $5 per member that is one thing but if $100/month then potentially not worth the expense. Looking at clubhosting.org as another alternative
4. Need to find new editor for Waterlog
